Over the last 20 years, Roger and Janet Graham have blessed Neighborhood Fellowship and the broader community of the Near-East side of Indianapolis with an immeasurable number of goods and food. There is purpose and design for each personality and gift in the Kingdom of God.
Roger and Janet didn’t set out to start a program. They didn’t meet with a board of directors and make a 10 or 20 year plan, but they have served the body of Christ and facilitated the Neighborhood Fellowships care for the needy in amazing ways.
Roger and Janet have been available and have used their own vehicles to transport donated furniture as needed. They have bought and accepted donations of food providing fruit and vegetables that may otherwise have been discarded. They have brought food into food a desert and have worked hard to prevent hunger and need.
Neighborhood Fellowship been able to care for the needs of many because of Roger and Janet’s willingness to be self driven. They have seen need and acted to fill these needs. You will rarely see Roger and Janet without something to give. We are thankful both for the good they do and the example they are to younger generations.
We pray that God would continue to send those with open hearts and open eyes; those who see need and are moved to fill it. This is the model that Neighborhood Fellowship is committed to. The Scripture says “The greatest among you will be your servant” (Matthew 23:11). We praise God that He moves His people to do good.
